After clicking the corresponding “Sign Up Now” button, the user is asked to fill in their email address and password. No credit card information is required when creating a Basic membership.

WorldTV offers users three account options. The first is a Basic plan which includes two minute sign up, an online video library, playlist tools, web TV broadcast capabilities, embeddable player access, a hosted video website, free directory listing and access to one million viewers for free. The Professional plan is also free and includes the same features plus the ability to add Pro features for around 25 cents per month. Professional accounts require a credit card when signing up even though there is no subscription fee. Users can also pay for al la carte items such as YouTube HD videos, Twitter integration, Google AdSense, custom domain name hosting and mobile phone video features.
